Pennsylvania appeals Constellation-Calpine merger clearance by US FERC

( November 20, 2025, 15:00 GMT | Official Statement) -- MLex Summary: After months of opposing Constellation Energy's acquisition of rival electricity provider Calpine Corporation during the US Federal Energy Regulatory Commission's review of the deal, the Pennsylvania Office of Consumer Advocate has filed a petition for review of FERC's decision to conditionally approve the transaction and the agency's denial of Pennsylvania's pleas for a rehearing in this merger case.
