US judge dismisses mobile home renters' US price data-sharing claims

( December 4, 2025, 16:54 GMT | Official Statement) -- MLex Summary: A US judge dismissed mobile home renters' US antitrust claims over an alleged information-sharing conspiracy to unilaterally increase rents for manufactured homes through the use of Datacomp. Though the plaintiffs have demonstrated parallel conduct through price increases, that on its own can't support a price-fixing conspiracy, which they have not plausibly pled, Judge Franklin Valderrama said. Although the plaintiffs have alleged information exchange that facilitates a conspiracy, and that the defendants acted against their self-interest by sharing pricing information, they have failed to allege a plausible market or substantiate their unjust enrichment claim, and the claims are dismissed without prejudice, the order said.See attached document: ...
