TikTok, LinkedIn face Irish Digital Services Act probes over reporting tools (update*)

The Irish media regulator said on Tuesday that it has opened two investigations to assess potential infringements of the platforms’ obligation to provide user-friendly tools for reporting illegal content, ensure anonymous reporting of suspected child sexual abuse material and avoid deceptive interface designs.TikTok and LinkedIn are being probed under the EU’s content-moderation law over their reporting mechanisms, the Irish media regulator said on Tuesday....
