GoodRx sweetens proposed settlement of US privacy litigation to $32 million

By Mike Swift ( December 2, 2025, 00:42 GMT | Insight) -- Six months after a federal judge in California scrapped a proposed $25 million settlement, GoodRx and the plaintiffs have agreed to a $32 million settlement of litigation over the online pharmacy’s sharing of prescription information with Google, Meta Platforms and Criteo — $7 million more than the original proposal. The revised settlement would also include Criteo, and would make it easier for the plaintiffs to pursue settlements with the other two defendants, Google and Meta.Six months after GoodRx saw a US judge scuttle settlement of class-action litigation over its sharing of users’ health data with advertisers, the online pharmacy company has agreed to add a defendant to the settlement and tack $7 million to what would now be a $32 million deal....
