US DOJ backs NTE's win against Duke Energy in electricity transmission antitrust case

( December 1, 2025, 22:17 GMT | Official Statement) -- MLex Summary: NTE Carolinas sufficiently alleged that Duke Energy took a variety of steps intended to deter Fayetteville from switching to a new energy supplier, the US Department of Justice said in a brief to the US Supreme Court. The DOJ argued against the court granting a petition for review of a summary judgment against Duke.
