China launches expiry review of anti-dumping duties on polyphenylenesulfide imports

( December 1, 2025, 02:34 GMT | Official Statement) -- MLex Summary: China’s Commerce Ministry has launched an expiry review of anti-dumping duties on imports of polyphenylenesulfide from Japan, the US, South Korea and Malaysia, with the probe starting Monday and expected to conclude by Dec. 1, 2026. Imports will continue to face existing duties from 23.3 percent to 220.9 percent, as approved by the Customs Tariff Commission of the State Council. Polyphenylenesulfide is widely applied in the textile, automotive, electronics, machinery, petrochemical and aerospace sectors.
