Nearly 90% of top South Korean firms use AI in personnel management

( November 28, 2025, 07:10 GMT | Official Statement) -- MLex Summary: A recent survey of 500 major South Korean companies found that nearly 90 percent of the nation's leading firms use artificial-intelligence tools, either officially or unofficially, in human resources management operations, the Ministry of Employment and Labor said. Specifically, 41.2 percent of respondents use the tools officially in personnel management affairs, while 45.5 percent use them unofficially. Among companies that officially use AI tools, the most common application was the hiring process at 52.8 percent. This was followed by a tie at 45.4 percent each for education and training, and for responding to human resources-related inquiries, the ministry said.The statement, in Korean, is attached....
