South Korea, Japan resume science-technology meeting to discuss AI, quantum

( November 27, 2025, 08:56 GMT | Official Statement) -- MLex Summary: South Korea and Japan held a meeting of their Joint Committee on Science and Technology Cooperation on Thursday, resuming the talks after a 15-year hiatus amid rapidly changing global developments in the artificial intelligence, quantum, and biotechnology sectors. South Korea’s Ministry of Foreign Affairs said officials from ministries responsible for science, technology, industry, energy and space development attended the meeting, which was held in Tokyo.
