Barriers in Latvian scrap metal sector to create competition threats, watchdog says

The number of businesses in the sector has almost halved over the past decade, potentially reducing competition in the long term, the watchdog said. Companies of the Tolmets group were found to own nearly half of all active scrap collection sites.
