South Korea discusses how to better utilize Nvidia AI-chip purchase deal

The working group held its inaugural meeting on Thursday, with Vice-Minister Ryu Je-myung hosting top officials from Samsung Electronics, Hyundai Motor, SK Telecom, and Naver. The government and the four companies had previously agreed with Nvidia to purchase a total of 260,000 graphics processing units, a deal that would make the country’s AI computing power among the strongest in the world.
