South Korea launches forum to assess AI, carbon-neutrality impacts on labor market

( November 26, 2025, 03:25 GMT | Official Statement) -- MLex Summary: South Korea’s Ministry of Employment and Labor has launched a forum of experts to assess the impact on the labor market from industrial transition driven by factors such as artificial intelligence and the government’s carbon-neutrality policy, and to discuss ways to mitigate any negative effects. The group of 12 experts in the fields of employment, labor, regions and industries will explore medium- to long-term employment and labor-policy directions aimed at supporting labor transition and employment stability, based on social dialogue.
