Brazil CADE to co-host BRICS+ Digital Competition Forum in Rio

( November 25, 2025, 22:29 GMT | Official Statement) -- MLex Summary: Brazil's competition authority, the Administrative Council for Economic Defense, or CADE, will co-organize the fourth BRICS+ Digital Competition Forum on Nov. 27 - 28 in Rio de Janeiro, alongside the BRICS Competition Law and Policy Centre and FGV Direito Rio’s Technology and Society Center. The event will gather antitrust authorities, experts and academics from multiple countries to address challenges in digital markets, including AI’s impact on competition law. Highlights include discussions on innovative remedies for platform conduct and a keynote address by Professor Alexey Ivanov on global grain value chains.
