Vodafone, EE, Three, O2-targeted UK mass claim approval confirmed by tribunal

( November 25, 2025, 16:29 GMT | Official Statement) -- MLex Summary: The clearance of mass UK litigation against mobile operators Vodafone, EE, Three and O2 over “loyalty penalties” has been confirmed by the Competition Appeal Tribunal through court orders. The litigation, centered on allegations that existing customers are charged more than new customers for the same services, has been brought by consumer champion Justin Gutmann and seeks more than £3 billion in compensation for alleged overcharging on around 28 million contracts. The action was cleared for trial by the CAT earlier this month, even as it pared back part of the claim.Orders attached....
