Omnicom's IPG takeover wins EU merger approval

( November 24, 2025, 10:46 GMT | Official Statement) -- MLex Summary: Omnicom Group's takeover of Interpublic Group of Companies has been approved by EU merger regulators. The European Commission said that the deal would leave Omnicom with only "moderate" shares on the markets for marketing communication services and media buying services. Furthermore, the fact that contracts were relatively short and awarded via bids would also reduce Omnicom's ability to raise prices. The press release follows....
