The European Commission will also publish a Cloud and AI Development Act aimed at supporting data center deployment in Europe through faster permitting, improved siting and better grid planning, the commission’s AI policy officer, Stavros Stamatoukos, told MLex in an interview.EU grid operators and data center developers will see new measures from the European Commission to improve grid data sharing practices and accelerate the deployment of data centers in Europe, Energy Commissioner Dan Jørgensen said Wednesday....
