Government efforts to cut methane emission lag 2030 target, UN report says

Methane emissions are still rising, though current legislation has lowered 2030 projections from earlier forecasts. Over 80 percent of potential methane cuts by 2030 could be achieved at low cost by fully implementing available control measures, with the energy sector accounting for 72 percent of total mitigation potential, the UN said.Full press release follows:...
