Indonesia warns OpenAI, Cloudflare, 23 others over registration requirement

The ministry said all local and foreign electronic service providers must register as part of Indonesia’s digital oversight framework. Director General for Digital Space Supervision Alexander Sabar said the registration requirement is “not merely for administrative purposes, but also a crucial instrument for ensuring Indonesia’s digital sovereignty and protecting the public.” Companies that fail to comply after receiving the notice could face administrative sanctions, including access termination.The statement follows (Indonesian)....
