US Customs launches duty evasion investigation on Indian threaded rod

( November 14, 2025, 23:52 GMT | Official Statement) -- MLex Summary: US Customs and Border Protection launched an antidumping duty evasion investigation on importers of carbon and alloy steel threaded rod from India. CBP said several companies are being examined for potentially evading duties: Chirag International, Everest Industrial Corporation, Honey Jain, KAG EXIM Inc., Kapson India, LH Dottie Company, OCM Inc., Stelfast Inc., Nuovo International LLC, Mankuj Jindal, Gap Trading Corp., Lindstrom LLC, Nuts & Bolts Inc., and Bee Dee Cycle Industries. The companies are accused of applying incorrect cash deposit rates to avoid paying the duty deposits. CBP will investigate from company entries imported from Nov. 2, 2023, to the pendency of the investigation.See attached file....
