In publishing a questionnaire as part of its Phase 1 review, the Australian Competition & Consumer Commission suggested its review would focus on Australian overlaps for the supply of connectors for all end-use applications. The Molex Group is part of the Koch Group, a multinational conglomerate based in the US; Smiths Interconnect researches, develops and produces electronic components, sub-systems, optical and radio-frequency products in the aerospace and defense, medical and industrial sectors.
