Vodafone faces possible rare 'disgorgement' order in German Vantage Towers probe

By Lewis Crofts ( November 12, 2025, 15:32 GMT | Insight) -- Vodafone has said it may face a rare disgorgement order from Germany's competition authority to pay back unspecified financial benefits if it is proven that it and Vantage Towers delayed supplying antenna sites for rival operator 1&1. To deploy the power last used in a significant case in 2006, the Federal Cartel Office would first have to prove an abuse and then calculate the corporate upside related to higher prices or increased profits. Vodafone has said it could face a rare order from Germany's competition authority to pay back unspecified financial benefits if it is proven that it and Vantage Towers delayed supplying antenna sites for rival operator 1&1....
