Swimming league files trial brief in US antitrust case against World Aquatics

It said World Aquatics thwarted ISL’s competition through a rule that required the national federations to boycott “unauthorized” ISL events and to suspend any swimmers from Olympic eligibility who participated in such events. “This group boycott, as required by World Aquatics’ [rule], blocked ISL from entering the market in 2018 and violated Section 1 of the Sherman Act. It also caused ISL to suffer damages in the form of lost profits and other revenue in 2018 and thereafter.”See attached file. ...
