Mozilla backs Google on multi-year agreements remedy in US search monopoly case

( November 6, 2025, 23:31 GMT | Official Statement) -- MLex Summary: Mozilla filed a brief urging a US federal judge to adopt Google’s proposed remedies in an antitrust case over search, saying they provide distribution partners the option to enter multi-year agreements with Google that contain an annual right of termination. Mozilla argued that companies like it can most effectively operate and compete when they have greater revenue predictability. Mozilla also asked the court to ensure that browser developers are given the option to enter omnibus agreements, so they are free from the burden of having to negotiate and administer numerous default agreements that cover each browser mode and operating system.See attached file. ...
