US announces trade agreement with Cambodia

( October 27, 2025, 15:02 GMT | Official Statement) -- MLex Summary: The US and Cambodia have reached a trade agreement that will eliminate Cambodian tariffs on 100 percent of American goods while the US maintains a 19 percent tariff on Cambodian goods. The deal, which will enter into force once both countries ratify it, also includes Cambodian commitments to addressing non-tariff barriers on US goods, allowing more American investments into Cambodia and to enforce environmental and labor rights laws. Cambodia also commits to working with the US on export controls and national security concerns, and to refrain from certain restrictions, such as value-added taxes or digital service taxes, among a range of other commitments and cooperation agreements.Statement follows below:...
