New EU plan to boost critical minerals sourcing to be presented by year-end

The initiative aims to secure alternative supply sources through domestic production, recycling, joint purchasing and partnerships, a commission spokesperson said. Technical talks with China on raw-material trade are also underway this week under the Export Control Dialogue framework.The EU will, before the end of the year, unveil its plan to improve access to critical raw minerals, dubbed RESourceEU, the European Commission said Monday....
