EU member states set to weigh enforcement of digital and product rules

A document, dated Oct. 17 and seen by MLex, outlines the discussion and points to a possible European Product Act that would merge three existing legislative instruments.The EU’s Digital Services Act, together with the Market Surveillance Regulation and the General Product Safety Regulation, will be at the heart of discussions next week, as EU member states meet at the technical level on Monday to examine how enforcement of product and consumer rules can keep pace with expanding online marketplaces....
