Reddit says planned UK privacy fine over age checks is based on flawed analysis (update*)

The online platform said it has cooperated with the watchdog and submitted its representations in September, and argued that the regulator's interpretation of the law is flawed.Online forum Reddit said there are “significant flaws” in the UK privacy regulator’s legal analysis of age verification systems, after the Information Commissioner’s Office confirmed on Wednesday it intends to fine the company for breaching children’s data protection rights (see here)....
