This target requires that, by 2030, all aviation fuel supplied at EU airports contain at least 6 percent sustainable fuel. The European Union Aviation Safety Agency’s report shows that in 2024, most sustainable fuel came from used cooking oil and animal fats, with supply concentrated in five member states.Press release follows.
