USITC mostly right in Chinese freight rails order, trade court rules

( October 17, 2025, 19:59 GMT | Official Statement) -- MLex Summary: The US Court of International Trade mostly sustained a 2023 International Trade Commission injury finding from dumped and subsidized imports of freight rail couplers from China and Mexico. Judge Gary Katzmann rejected challenges from plaintiffs Wabtec Corporation and Strato, Inc. that claimed the ITC should not have re-opened the case, erred when it cumulated imports during the review and that an involved company had a conflict of interest in the case. Katzmann, however, remanded the ITC for not excluding one producer from the order. Finally, the judge rejected a separate move for a remand based on fraud allegations.See attached file....
