Indonesia expects to sign FTA with Eurasian countries in December

( October 20, 2025, 07:46 GMT | Official Statement) -- MLex Summary: Indonesia's Ministry of Trade said in a statement at the weekend that it expects to sign a Free Trade Agreement with the Eurasian Economic Union  — Russia, Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, Belarus and Armenia  — as part of a move to boost bilateral trade. Director for Bilateral Negotiation at the Trade Ministry, Danang Prasta Danial, said the signing follows a substantial agreement reached on June 19, 2025, which is expected to be implemented in 2026.
