UK govt AI tool accelerated decision to abolish water regulator

It was used to sort into different themes the more than 50,000 responses to the Independent Water Commission’s consultation. This cost £240 and experts only needed 22 hours to check the results, according to a technology ministry release Thursday. The government said the results from Consult were compared to two expert groups and agreed with one or both groups 83 percent of the time while the two human groups only agreed with each other 55 percent of the time.
