In a statement on Tuesday it said the sale would cover 5.4 GHz of spectrum, the most ever made available in an Ofcom auction. Companies will be able to bid for spectrum in two difference frequency bands, 26 GHz and 40 GHz, for licences covering 68 towns and cities.
