Madison Communications accuses Indian antitrust investigative arm of curbing lawyer access

Arguing before the Delhi High Court, Madison also challenged the validity of the Competition Commission of India's probe into the alleged cartel among ad agencies and its handling of seized documents. The Delhi High Court will resume the hearing on Tuesday. Advertising major Madison Communications has claimed multiple procedural and legal flaws, including improper initiation of the investigation, non-supply of seized documents and restrictions on access to legal counsel during questioning by the investigative arm of India's antitrust watchdog....
