Europe’s gas system resilient even without Russian supplies, operators' group finds

( October 9, 2025, 15:23 GMT | Official Statement) -- MLex Summary: Europe’s gas network is expected to stay resilient this winter even if major supplies are disrupted, according to the latest Winter Supply Outlook published on Thursday by Europe’s gas operators’ group. The study found gas storage levels at 83 percent at the start of October. With enough liquefied natural gas, Europe could avoid shortages and keep storage about one-third full by the end of the winter season. Even if Russian pipeline supplies are fully cut, the system is expected to remain reliable, it says.Press release and reports attached....
