Australia’s order for X to remove killing video is unlawful, free speech group says

The regulator issued removal notices to X and Meta after the Classification Board deemed several graphic videos — including the killings of Zarutska, Charlie Kirk and Chandra Mouli Nagamallaiah — “Refused Classification,” making them illegal to host or share in Australia. But a free-speech group told the Administrative Review Tribunal on Wednesday that the takedown notice to X breached the implied constitutional freedom of political communication.
