US Customs announces port fees on Chinese ships beginning Oct. 14
( October 3, 2025, 21:36 GMT | Official Statement) -- MLex summary: US Customs and Border Protection announced that port fees for Chinese ships will begin on Oct. 14 with $50 per net ton for a Chinese-owned or operated ship and $18 per net ton, or $120 for each container discharged, of a Chinese-built ship. Also on Oct. 14, CBP will charge $14 per net ton for ships classified as vehicle carriers or roll-on/roll-off.See attached file....
