US says two companies skirted export control rules on Iran, Russia
( October 1, 2025, 17:23 GMT | Official Statement) -- MLex Summary: The US Department of Commerce's Bureau of Industry and Security sent letters to companies Luminultra Technologies Inc. and Hallewell Ventures Ltd. alleging they violated export control rules by shipping sanctioned product to Iran and Russia without authorization. Two separate orders said Luminultra supplied Iran with PhotonMaster luminometers and 25 aqueous test kits and Hallewell sent Russia a Bombardier Global 7500 aircraft bearing.
