Italian railway manager Rete Ferroviaria offers commitments to end antitrust probe

( September 25, 2025, 09:47 GMT | Official Statement) -- MLex Summary: Italy’s railway infrastructure management company, Rete Ferroviaria Italiana, has offered remedies to close an Italian antitrust probe into alleged efforts by it and parent company Ferrovie dello Stato Italiane to block rail transport company SNCF Voyages’s entry into the high-speed rail market. The remedies include allocating 22 timetable channels to SNCF from 2026/2027, and amending the 2027 Network Prospectus, to apply EU priority criteria in future framework capacity conflicts.
