China vows support for companies in US, urges cooperation amid trade uncertainty

Joined by the China General Chamber of Commerce USA, Wang said Beijing will continue to support Chinese businesses abroad, work to steady bilateral trade ties and defend companies' rights. He noted that earlier China-US trade talks had yielded important consensus but warned that global trade rules are under strain from protectionism.
