Japan's Kyokuto Kaihatsu group fined $40m for special-purpose truck body cartels

While Kyokuto and its subsidiary, Nippon Trex, were penalized, their competitors, ShinMaywa Industries and its subsidiary Toho Car, avoided fines and cease-and-desist orders by successfully applying for leniency.
