( September 22, 2025, 10:29 GMT | Official Statement) -- MLex Summary: A total of 20 jurisdictions have now signed a joint statement on tackling risks in AI to data protection and privacy after 15 signed up at the Global Privacy Assembly conference in Seoul on Sept. 17. Data authorities from Germany, Finland, the Netherlands, Canada and Spain were among those adding their names to the "Joint Statement on Building Trustworthy Data Governance Frameworks to Encourage Development of Innovative and Privacy-protecting AI," first signed by France, Australia, South Korea, Ireland and the UK in February on the sidelines of the Paris AI Action Summit.Press release follows, statement attached....
