California Crane School seeks rehearing of US Apple, Google antitrust case

( September 18, 2025, 00:07 GMT | Official Statement) -- MLex Summary: California Crane School (CCS) asked the US Court of Appeals for the Ninth Circuit for a rehearing of its claims that Apple and Google struck a deal to keep Apple from competing in general search and search ads. A three-judge panel affirmed a US district court's dismissal without leave to amend and ordered compelling arbitration. "Rehearing is warranted because, in the opinion of the Appellant, the Panel overlooked and misapprehended material points of fact and law, which would, and in the opinion of the Petitioner should, alter the outcome of this appeal," CCS wrote in a petition. See court filing. ...
