DAF-targeted UK suit from Manolete Partners dismissed by CAT

( September 16, 2025, 14:13 GMT | Official Statement) -- MLex Summary: A UK lawsuit targeting DAF Trucks from specialist insolvency litigation financier Manolete Partners has been dismissed by the Competition Appeal Tribunal. According to an order from the court, the parties are "no longer" in dispute with each other. Manolete Partners has targeted other truckmakers and that litigation continues. In 2016, the European Commission found that truckmakers formed a cartel for 14 years on "truck pricing and on passing on the costs of compliance with stricter emission rules." Order attached....
