The European Commission is seeking input on simplifying EU rules covering data, cybersecurity and artificial intelligence. The initiative is part of a broader EU agenda to simplify legislation, aimed at cutting administrative burdens for companies. EU tech chief Henna Virkkunen said the goal is to make doing business in Europe easier, with less paperwork and overlap, while keeping high standards for online fairness and safety.
