New guidance will help Big Tech comply with Australia's under-16 social-media ban

In a statement accompanying the publication of the document, eSafety Commissioner Julie Inman Grant said the guidance was designed to provide information to age-restricted social-media platforms to ensure they have appropriate measures in place to prevent Australian children under 16 from holding accounts on their services.
