AT&T, Verizon, T-Mobile file reply for dismissing VoIP-Pal's amended US antitrust claims

( September 12, 2025, 22:31 GMT | Official Statement) -- MLex Summary: AT&T, Verizon, and T-Mobile filed a reply in support of their motion to dismiss VoIP-Pal’s amended US antitrust complaint, saying opposition reveals that VoIP-Pal does not understand the claims it has tried to plead. “[I]f VoIP-Pal really could offer a standalone Wi-Fi calling plan for $20 a month while the carrier defendants charge $180 a month for a plan that bundles cellular service with Wi-Fi calling, then the alleged tying arrangement would not foreclose VoIP-Pal from competing with the carriers. Just the opposite: it would give VoIP-Pal a competitive advantage, as it could offer consumers what they supposedly want—standalone Wi-Fi calling—for far less than they presently pay for cellular plans that include Wi-Fi calling,” they argued.See attached file. ...
