Roblox will introduce safety measures for children, Australian online regulator says

( September 15, 2025, 05:16 GMT | Official Statement) -- MLex Summary: Online gaming platform Roblox has committed itself to introducing new safety measures, following concerns raised by Australia’s online-safety regular. In a statement, Australia’s eSafety Commissioner said that Roblox would ensure that several key features will be switched off by default for children in Australia, including the direct chat and “experience chat” within games, until the user has completed an age-estimation process.
