Guidance on GDPR and Digital Services Act interplay issued by EU privacy watchdogs

( September 12, 2025, 10:33 GMT | Official Statement) -- MLex Summary: The interplay between the EU's Digital Services Act and the General Data Protection Regulation is addressed in new guidelines published on Friday by the European Data Protection Board, the umbrella group of national data protection authorities. The guidelines aim to ensure consistent application of the two digital laws, as certain provisions of the content-moderation law involve the processing of personal data by intermediary service providers.
