Adbri-Premix deal can proceed, following Australian regulatory green light

( September 11, 2025, 02:59 GMT | Official Statement) -- MLex Summary: Australian cement company Adbri’s proposed acquisition, through its subsidiaries Adbri Concrete and Quarries SA, of a 100 percent stake in Premix Concrete S.A., Seelander Quarries, Clinton Quarries and Adelaide Industrial Sands, known collectively as SA Premix, has been cleared by the country’s merger watchdog. In an entry on its website, the Australian Competition & Consumer Commission said the proposed deal was unlikely to substantially lessen competition in any market it had examined, including the RMX-supplier market and the sand and hard-rock aggregates market in the region around the city of Adelaide.
