US court rejects tech industry bid to enjoin Calif. social media restriction law

But the three-judge panel enjoined one provision requiring platforms to hide like- and share-counts.An appeals court panel largely upheld a California law restricting minors’ access to “addictive” social media feeds, ruling Tuesday that most of the measure can take effect apart from a provision that bars showing minors the number of likes or shares on their posts....
