The proposals were adopted on Tuesday by the parliament's full assembly, and include binding targets for recycled plastic, future targets for steel and aluminum, and stricter producer responsibility for end-of-life vehicles. Lawmakers also call for clearer rules distinguishing used cars from end-of-life vehicles, including an export ban on the latter.
